Birdy Mug II

The second mug from my birdy jumbo set. Again, it was inspired by a truly jaw-dropping photo I was lucky to see here on deviantart: [link] by It's a must-see! The bird is called Eurasian Bullfinch and apparently this lovely creature is endangered.

What I'm most pleased here with is the texture I achieved on it's chest by adding new thick layers of paint. Pity you can't touch it
